Mühendisliği Bölümünde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin mesleki deneyim
kazanmaları amacıyla, yaz aylarında veya dönem aralarında, 40 iş günü
staj yapmaları gereklidir. Bir
işyerinde yapılan stajın en çok 30 günü zorunlu staja sayılabilir. Staj elektronik, haberleşme, kontrol, güç, bilgisayar donanımı veya yazılımı konularında olabileceği gibi diğer Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği konularında, tasarım, bakım ve satış bölümlerinde de olabilir. Öğrenciler ikinci sınıfın sonunda staja başlayabilirler. Bölümde çift-anadal öğrenimi gören öğrenciler 20 gün staj yapmakla yükümlüdürler. Dikey geçiş ile meslek yüksek okullarından gelen öğrencilerin meslek okullarında yapmış oldukları staj bölümümüzdeki zorunlu staja sayılır. Öğrenciler staj yapacakları yeri bulduktan sonra staj komisyonunun yazılı onayını alırlar ve staj sırasındaki gözlem ve çalışmalarını staj defterlerine günlük olarak kaydederler. Daha sonra işyeri tarafından onaylanmış staj defterini ve kapalı zarf içinde Staj Değerlendirme Formu'nu -- bazı firmalar bu forma Staj Sicil Fişi diyorlar -- dönem başlangıcında bölüme teslim ederler. Stajı eksik olan öğrenci Güz ve Bahar yarıyılları kayıt dönemlerinde kayıt yenilemek zorundadır. Staj Dilekçenizi çevrimiçi olarak hazırlamanızı şiddetle öneririz. Staj sürecince İş Kazası ve Meslek Hastalığı Sigortanızın yapılması gereklidir. 5510 sayılı yasaya göre, sigorta işlemleriniz Üniversite tarafından yaptırılır. Bu işlemlerin yapılabilmesi ve staj başlama tarihine yetiştirilebilmesi için staja başlamadan 21 gün önce gerekli belgeleri şeffaf bir plastik zarf/dosya içinde Bölüme teslim etmeniz gereklidir. Electrical and Electronics
Engineering students are required 40 days of practical training during
the summer months or during the breaks.
A student may do up to 30 days of training at a workplace. The practical training could be on electronics, communication systems, control systems, power systems, computer hardware or software and other Electrical Engineering and electronics related fields including the design, maintenance and sales departments. The practical training could be initiated after the second year of classes. 20 days of training is required for the double-major students. Students who come from the two-year vocational schools are given credit for the practical training they have done prior to being admitted to the department. The student gets the approval of the practical training committee before starting the practical training at a particular place. The observations and work carried out during the training is recorded daily in the practical training book. After the training, the supervisor fills out the evaluation form and the training book which are turned in to the department at the beginning of the semester that follows the training. A student who has not completed the training is required to renew the registration at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters. The practical training approval form may be filled online. We strongly recommend it. The law number 5510 requires the trainees be insured for the occupational hazards during the practical training. The law requires the University file the information with the SGK and pay the premiums for the "obligatory practical training" period. This process takes time; hence, students must file the paperwork with the Department office 21 days before the practical training starts.
